The
SQL database is connected to the employee master file and
accesses information like employee name number, department and
the assigned supervisor.
Proposals for rewards can be entered via a web based
employee portal on any PC. The type
of reward and value is determined by the employee master data.
The
solution will
route requests for approval via the in-house email
system. Approvals or rejections are captured via standard
forms with drop down menus and free form text and are
distributed again via email to human resource or the next
approval level as determined in the work flow. Placing
purchase orders for rewards or determining the total value of
rewards granted so far are only some of the administrative and
reporting functions available to human resource and general
management.
The security functionality
prevents unauthorized read or write access to data and reports
and will ensure the control of employee sensitive data.
