Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Preparation and review of end of year accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited  Companies
  • Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships and Companies
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies
  • Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns and RCT submissions
  • Dealing with clients via phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts
 
Candidate requirements and qualifications:
 
  • Full or part qualified with appropriate technical qualification
  • Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment is essential
  • Current working knowledge of Irish tax laws and accounting standards applicable to
  • small business
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems
  • Good people skills and be highly organised
  • A good command of the English language (both spoken and written)
  • Experience with accounting and tax software such as Relate, Sage, ROS and CORE would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and be a team player.
