We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Architect with a dynamic and fast-growing Supply Chain Solutions Provider with HQ based in Shannon, Co. Clare. Position will be offered as permanent full-time role and will report to Supply Chain Systems Director.

Customer Engagement:

• Conduct client supply chain assessments to capture and document business requirements including business rules and practices
• Co-ordinate installation / Operational deployment at customer sites
• Recommend enhancements to business practices to improve efficiencies
• Define user requirements and implement with business Partners
• Perform customer and application support activities including working issues to closure and problem resolution
• Co-ordinate installation / operational deployment at customer sites
• User education / training at Customer Sites

Project Management:

• Perform and support Project Management activities including project planning, budgeting, status reporting, resource planning and allocation and management of client expectations
• Participate and lead cross-functional teams to solve business problems
• Recommend enhancements to business practices to improve efficiencies
• Provide management team with potential solutions options including, pros & cons
• Maintain all relevant project documentation per the PMO structure
• Run Change control and Governance Process
• Identify, track and manage risks

System Support:

• Oversee and perform testing of automated systems including development of test plans and scenarios, conducting of user testing and business process validation
• Evaluate and participate in the evaluation of new technologies
• Case management and prioritisation
• Co-ordinate & Lead all development activities including technical design and approval

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and function as a lead analyst on multi-member projects
• Highly accountable taking ownership and leadership, driving things energetically, working in a positive / constructive manner
• Excellent attention to detail and the mental capability to troubleshoot and solve problems of high complexity or difficulty, as well as problem solve in a proactive, methodical manner.
• Must be able to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines and comprehend complex issues.
• communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation including participating on international customer and partner programs.
• Effectively engage with stakeholders and work in a collaborative manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• 7+ Years’ experience and deep knowledge of freight and parcel business including regulatory requirements across multiple international freight modes. (Parcel, Air, Ocean, Road)
• Extensive experience in a project management and / or business analyst role using large integrated software systems (ERP, MRP, SAP,)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or IT
