Security Systems Technician / Engineer
eFlexes are currently recruiting an Electronic Security Systems Technician / Engineer for a Security company based in the Mid-West. The Security Systems Technician/Engineer will join a well-established team, supporting a customer base in the Midwest in the areas of: Intruder & Fire Alarms, Access Control & CCTV systems.
This is a long-term career opportunity and comes with a competitive salary and allowance. A Company van, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Installation, service & maintenance of Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Systems in line with current regulations & standards
- Installation, service & maintenance of Intruder Alarm Systems in line with current regulations & standards
- Installation, networking, service & maintenance of IP CCTV systems
- Installation, networking, service & maintenance of Access Control systems
- Experience with all cabling methods and containment
- Share emergency on-call duties one weekend per month
- Work as part of a team and on own initiative
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified security technician and/or electrician
- Proven track record as service engineer/electrician
- Technically disciplined, thorough, excellent attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of the industry, standards & regulations
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communications skills with strong customer focus, dealing with both domestic & commercial clients
- Work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Be comfortable handling a mixed workload
- Full clean driving licence
