Permanent Electrician

Our client offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis, becoming an integral part of their operations. This role is ideal for an Industrial Electrician with 2-3 years of experience who is seeking longevity and professional growth.

 

Applications are welcomed from individuals who have completed a recognized electrical qualification with post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in an industrial setting. We are seeking candidates who enjoy working in a team-oriented environment with responsibility for ensuring the effective monitoring and maintenance of all electrical infrastructure across the organisation.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Completion of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on electrical infrastructural assets; Planned Maintenance programme; Building Services; Fire Alarm systems; Emergency Lighting systems; Car Park systems; Street lighting; Lifts/escalators; HVAC; HBS Maintenance; Heating and Water systems and minor projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring a high standard of work on all elements of monitoring, reporting and maintenance of electrical assets to NSAI and EASA standards
  • Carry out critical asset repairs, inspections, and health checks of systems
  • Use, promote and monitor the asset management CMMS
  • Regular monitoring of Electrical Scada Systems
  • Support Site Facilities Management

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Electrical trade apprenticeship and appropriate trade certificates
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a fully qualified industrial Electrician
  • Good working knowledge of electrical systems design, operations, and maintenance of high voltages systems
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated and/or safety critical working environment
  • Familiar with and understand the NSAI regulation and how they affect the maintenance works of major electrical systems
  • Understand the safety regulations and have a strong concern for the health and safety of self and others
  • Competent IT skills with experience with Windows based software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, with team members, Engineering Team and wider stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills accepting ownership for delivery and accountability for results
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail and quality of work
  • Full Clean Class B Licence
