eFlexes Staffing and Recruitment Solutions would like to recruit for the position of Engineering Technician, which is based with a Multinational Manufacturing company based in Shannon. The position will focus specifically on providing customized product samples to the market and supporting process improvement within Grits/Micron.
DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Develop customized products through the sample process (SAM) working closely with Grits/Micron team to efficiently deliver new products to the marketplace.
- Project manages all elements of the SAM process including associated process improvements with strong communication on and adherence to promised ship dates.
- This will require working closely with all SAM process stakeholders including product management, quality, supply chain, production, training and finance.
- Proactively share updates with sales and product management teams and ensures all deliverables / dependencies are highlighted.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering technician or equivalent with 2 years plus experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Specific experience in the following is a distinct advantage
- Sample Process (SAM)
- Project Management
- An openness to new technologies and ability to follow-up on these independently.
- A motivated individual with strong can do attitude.
- Ability to lead, communicate and appropriately influence team members.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent organizational and computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal across all management levels.
- Strong analytical skills.
