We are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lab Technician with one of multinational Healthcare clients based in Co. Galway. Position will report to Quality Manager and be offered as fulltime permanent basis

Job Purpose: To carry out lab testing to ensure product performance to specification

Key Responsibilities:
• Production Lab testing to meet all standards
• Ensure incoming substrates are within quality acceptance criteria and are suitable for processing
• Conduct statistical analysis on laboratory results in order to identify parameter trends, customer trends etc.
• Monitor laboratory performance measurables in order to ensure customer satisfaction e.g. meeting agreed turnaround times
• New product validation testing and reporting
• Laboratory instrument maintenance and calibration

Key requirements
- Education & Experience:
• Science Qualification (applied physics, chemistry, physics and instrumentation)
• Experience working in manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a lab environment is an advantage
• Strong IT skills, working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
