We are currently recruiting exciting position Human Resources Manager Europe & Asia with long established Shannon, Co. Clare based multinational client

Position Overview
Reporting to the Global CFO, this role is responsible for the Human Resources function to support Operations in Europe & Asia. This includes playing a key part in the senior management team in leading the long-term strategic progression and expansion of the Group. You will play an integral part in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting staff; this will include creating job descriptions and person specifications, checking applications, shortlisting and interviewing & selecting candidates.
• Negotiating with employees and their representatives on issues relating to pay and working conditions.
• Advising on pay and remuneration issues such as benefits and promotions.
• Advising your company on employment law.
• Performance management, Talent Development, Training and Improvement systems.
• Compensation and Benefits oversight, along with regularly reviewing staff salaries.
• Carrying out disciplinary procedures and handling grievances.
• Creating and implementing policies on issues such as performance management, working conditions and equal opportunities.
• Drive collaborative cross-functional interactions with local and global colleagues to identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide senior management with relevant, accurate and timely reports from which management decisions can be based.
• Engage with the organisation in a professional manner at all times and be committed to delivering results.
• Oversight of Time & Attendance tracking application, ensuring accurate & timely reporting is maintained through to monthly payroll information preparation
• Develop excellent, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure appropriate communication, training and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the company Directors.
• People Manager Role, responsible for a team of three direct reports

Competencies
• Highly motivated and energetic, with excellent interpersonal, organisational and diplomatic skills.
• Proven track record as a HR generalist, preferably in a senior role.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, with an ability to support and influence all stakeholders, including Directors across the business
• Extensive experience and proven ability in Recruitment and Selection.
• Experience of designing and writing HR policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment
• Knowledge of payroll and payroll procedures
• An ability to keep up to date with Irish and international employment law (mainly UK, Czech Republic & Singapore).
• The capacity to make tough decisions without allowing emotions to cloud your judgment.
• An interest in helping employees with career development.
• Ambitious, driven, persistent and confident in own ability to achieve targets.
• Proven ability of leading, directing and motivating a team to achieve their potential.
• Ability to initiate and support change and implement processes, tools and controls to contribute to continuous improvement activity within the Group.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities and to work to tight deadlines.
• Prioritisation and time management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Human Resources Manager role.
• Availability to travel to Company locations as required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management packages.
