Exciting Opportunity Alert! Our esteemed client in Shannon, Co. Clare is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator to join their dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position includes a 6-month probationary period and entails reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. As a valued member of the Instrument Build Department, your main responsibilities will involve configuring and plumbing various instrumentation, offering a diverse range of tasks within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and thoroughly test system assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, units, and parts following established protocols.
  • Conduct basic fault finding and continuously improve processes as required.
  • Execute tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to provided training.
  • Perform meticulous in-process inspections to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also excelling as a team player.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools.
  • Skilled in following procedures and accurately interpreting technical drawings.
  • Previous experience operating general machinery such as lathes, mills, and sandblasters is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
