Tool Fitter- Trainee Role
Eflexes Staffing and Recruitment are current recruiting a Trainee Tool Fitter for a Large Manufacturing facility in Co. Clare.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and a keen interest in Tooling with a strong mechanical aptitude.
The role is a full time permanent position with probation.

Responsibilities as you develop;
• Provide support to the manufacturing floor including support of the Technical Department, Tool Shop, Operations Team and Cell Leaders.
• Set and optimise the tools in plastic injection moulding machines.
• Tool and part validation for production using equipment provided including callipers, micrometers, shadow graphs and Keyence Image Dimension measurement system.
• Verify tools and parts using 3D tool models and Autodesk Mouldflow Advisor.
• Advanced tool maintenance, trouble shooting and process optimisation activities.
• Basic machine maintenance, trouble shooting and process optimisation activities.
• To drive continuous improvements ensuring production efficiencies and quality
• Driving good working practices and ensuring that other team members adhered to them.
• Monitor and adhere to all relevant Health & Safety policies and legislation
• To carry out tool trials, tool validations and NPI activities
