eFlexes Recruitment and Staffing Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative based with client in Pharma sector in Shannon, Co.Clare. This is a contract role (min 3 months with opportunity to extend) and flexibility with overtime etc is required.

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform all warehouse duties in a safe, timely and compliant manner consistent with site procedures, EHS regulations, cGMP and GDP requirements. To maintain all warehouse areas, logbooks and records in a consistent audit ready state. To be an active team member, continuously striving to improve communication, efficiency, safety and the cost effectiveness of site activities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Receive and issue all materials in an accurate and timely manner, following good cGMP and according to relevant SOPs
• Prepare, pack and print labels for Finished Goods and Waste Loads Shipments
• Unload all road tankers coming on side, following applicable procedures
• Inventory Control through the weekly cycle counting process, performing, recording and communicating cycle count activities in a timely manner.
• Transport of Chemicals and Materials between plants, in a compliant and safe manner
• Ensure all logbooks are updated in a compliant and timely manner
• Provide stocks levels to Purchasing Co-Ordinator as required
• Attend and actively participate in all scheduled training and meetings
• Assist with the investigation, progression and close out of deviations
• Input accurate data on SAP on a real time basis in accordance with procedures
• Identify areas of improvement in the process and participate to continuous improvement projects
• Maintain your workplace and area of work in a clean and tidy condition during and after any work completion (i.e. clean as you go)
• Ensure all waste is disposed of as per our Licence requirements, correctly segregated and materials stored in a correct manner
• Ensure unsafe and potentially non-compliant environmental conditions are proactively identified and resolved
• Keep an energy and cost aware focus and work to reduce energy usage and waste on site
• Forklift Driving
• Comply with all EHS and QA policies and procedures
• Any other reasonable job related duties that may be required from time to time.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Leaving certificate level

SKILLS:

• Full Driver’s Licence
• Good computer skills, including working knowledge of SAP
• Certificate in Forklift Operation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good problem solving skills

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in operations or warehouse
• Experience of working in a regulated environment

KNOWLEDGE:

• Regulatory and legislative requirements (Safety, Quality, Environment)
