The Role:

The role involves driving traffic to, and raising the profile of company’s site. You will report to the head of Business Development and work within a small multidisciplinary Logistics Services team.

Role Responsibilities:

1.      Develop and implement the overall digital marketing strategy, budget and implementation plan.

2.      Recommend and implement improvements to existing sites (specifically parcel business) including the supervision and management of any 3rd party services              providers.

3.      Report on the performance and effectiveness of all digital marketing activity.

4.      Ensure digital marketing spend is managed, costs are minimised and maximum value is achieved.

5.      Generate additional demand through direct customer engagement including market research, cold calling, trade shows and sales presentations to customers.

6.      Produce proposals and budget requirements for any new marketing activity.

7.      Look for and manage online partnerships to market to the databases of other organisations using such means as Infographics etc.

8.      Create and define business case and implement digital projects.

9.      Setup and manage the communication initiatives including customer newsletter and other marketing activities as required.

10.  Design email marketing campaigns. 

11.  Maintain and reinforce the agreed brand and identity across all activity.

 

Key Experience and Skills:

1.      Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role, preferably with a consumer/e-commerce/logistics site with a good appreciation of logistics

2.      Demonstrate strong customer service relationship engagement as a team worker with a positive attitude to work.
