OPAT Pharmacist Athy Co. Kildare 
Full Time Permanent Post

We are currently recruiting Pharmacist in the Athy Co. Kildare region for a Large Pharmacy located in the town. 
The role will not involve evenings or late shifts and no Sundays or bank holidays. The role is permanent so offers great job security. 
This is a very progressive pharmacy so they are looking for a Pharmacist who wants to grow and develop within their facility. 
There is an attractive annualised salary for the successful candidate. 

Job Description:
To Support the HSE OPAT programme through dispensing of hospital prescriptions initiated by hospital consultants for IV antibiotic therapy. Working to agreed operating procedures within the pharmacy to maintain the highest ethical standards and deliver excellent customer care.

• Support patient compassionate care programmes, through dispensing of prescriptions initialled by a hospital consultant.
• Have an understanding of Good Distribution Practice and principles of wholesale supply of medicines.
• Have an understanding of Pharmacovigilance and responsibly of pharmacists to report adverse events.
• To strictly observe the statutory regulations relating to the supply of medicinal products as per the pharmacy Act 2007.

We are looking for qualified Pharmacist with 2 years’ experience.
