We are currently recruiting for an exciting new permanent opportunity of Supply Chain Analyst with long established multinational client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. 

The Supply Chain Analyst will provide support to a wide range of functions within the supply chain but will also support analyst functions in finance, sales, and production within the company. You will be required to extract and disseminate the data from primarily the ERP system, but also drawing from other systems like SharePoint, excel Power BI etc.

As Supply Chain Analyst you will need to be able to formulate requests from various departments into a workable data framework. The Analyst will need to use this framework to extract, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information to produce a relatable data set. The successful candidate will need to be able to not only produce a resulting data analysis, but be able to validate the quality and validation of results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyse and present key business metrics to stakeholders
• Analyse large datasets to produce new insights into business performance
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports based on stakeholder requirements and provide feedback
• Identify trends and performance gaps in key business areas
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to understand emerging data metrics
• Perform data mining and data modelling tasks
• Identify, monitor, and follow-up on data improvement requests

Qualifications & Experience:

• A 3rd Level Qualification for example in Physics, Math’s or Finance or Engineering
• A background in production, supply chain or planning with a significant affinity to Data analytics, Processing and supply chain modelling
• Experience in writing SQL queries for data mining
• Preference will be given for programming experience (any language from VBA to C++ and Java)
• Crystal reports, Power BI and SAP B1 experience is an advantage
• Good Reporting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
