Due to the significant business growth, our client currently has opportunities for Environmental Health & Safety Specialist.
Location: Based in Shannon
Job Types: 12 month contract
Responsibilities:
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust EH&S management systems, ensuring all necessary supporting policies, procedures and work instructions are fit for purpose, meet legislative and contractual requirements, and achieve the delivery of industrial best practice & performance.
• Undertake investigations into EH&S Incidents determine and implement all necessary actions to prevent a recurrence.
• Undertake investigations into Environmental Incidents and liaise with the relevant regulatory bodies as necessary
• Management of ISO standards (14001:2015, 45001:2018)
Requirements:
• Relevant Environmental, Health & Safety Qualification essential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under their own initiative.
• Excellent leadership, training, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS office.
• Very proactive with strong time management skills
