Due to continued business expansion, we are currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for immediate start with a large manufacturing client based in Shannon.

As warehouse supervisor you will be required to oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities, manage productivity, ensure product quality and help achieve objectives and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop your team to ensure high level of customer satisfaction in areas such as receiving, dispatching and maintaining quality of goods.
• Maximising productivity of labour as part of MPS and OTD.
• Organising and maintaining inventory to meet customer delivery dates.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, customers and other departments to ensure shipments and transactions are accurate and timely.
• Support detailed records and documentation to project warehouse stock status.
• Continue to uphold high standard of housekeeping and adherence to HSE requirements by all team members.
• Communicate with team members, provide coaching and guidance and identify areas of improvements using Kaizen initiatives.

Requirements:

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in Warehouse Supervisor role
• Experience with developing, bidding and managing logistics subcontracts
• Experience with Lean principles including Kanban and 5s
• Knowledge of MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (NetSuite, Fishbowl Inventory, MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365 etc.)
• Forklift License and Manual Handling Certificates
• Flexibility with work times as position may change to night shift
• AS9100 / ISO 9001 and HSE requirements advantageous
