eFlexes Staffing and Recruitment currently have a vacancy for a recent accounting graduate for a Multinational customer of ours based in Shannon, Co.Clare on a 12 month contract. 

Purpose of the Job: 

We are seeking applications from high calibre candidates for this position, reporting to the Financial Accounting Controller to support the Accounts Receivable team with all aspects of processing AR invoices for a US operation. The role also includes duties supporting the Global Treasury function reporting to Group Corporate Treasurer. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Ownership of the AR Process, both third party and intercompany 
• Processing customer/intercompany settlements in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate matching to customer invoices based on remittance advices 
• Processing customer credit card receipts 
• Set up of new customers on ERP system 
• Resolving customer and internal AR queries 
• Generate a limited number of customer credit notes 
• Prepare and post a number of key monthly journals 
• Maintain software system 
• Assist with month end close within a tight reporting timeframe including the preparation of a number of key balance sheet reconciliations 
• Reconciling and agreeing intercompany AR balances within a tight monthly reporting timeframe 
• Assist with audit (internal/external) preparation and answering AR related queries as they arise 
• Assist with various accounting related projects and other ad hoc duties as identified by your manager 
• Maintain an organized filing system 
• Coordinate daily group cash reporting on banking and accounting system 
• Supporting the Group Corporate Treasurer as required 

Education & Experience required for the job: 

• 3rd level qualification in a Finance related area 
• 1 years+ experience within accounts receivable preferable 
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS office products 
• Experience with an ERP system preferable 
• Strong accuracy and good attention to detail 
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet all deadlines set 
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skill 
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
