Our client, an aircraft maintenance consultancy based on Shannon, is seeking to hire an experienced Accounts Administrator to assist their Finance team. This is a dual role reporting to the Financial Controller, as well as office administration and managing technical records.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation and Issuing of Sales Invoices
• Respond and close out Invoice Queries Promptly
• Accounts Receivable processing and balance confirmations
• Customer & Supplier Monthly Statements
• Dealing with supplier queries and supplier reconciliations
• Weekly Cash Flow Reporting
• Bi Monthly Payment Process Management
• Supporting the month end process as required
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of bank account transactions
• Cash flow production
• Assistant to FC with accounts to trial balance
• Assistance with board meeting preparation
• Sage Line 50 uploading.
o Accounts Payable/Receivable
o Bank reconciliations
o Debtor reconciliations
• Participation in ad hoc project work
• Administrative tasks assisting the technical team
• Meet and greet for all visitors.
• Answer calls to the main phone line and dealing with / distributing calls as required
• Preparation of customer general terms agreement/proposals
• Maintaining UpToDate customer databases
• Preparing office templates for best practices
• GDPR officer
• Responsible for general office administration (assistance with preparation for meetings, conferences, etc.)
• Liaising with all companies’ suppliers of goods and services, including ordering of supplies, couriers etc. and generally ensuring smooth running of office
• Assistance with ad hoc projects as required

Requirements:
• 2+ years previous bookkeeping/accounts experience
• Account Technician qualification is essential (IATI)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent Microsoft office skills
• Sage Accounts Package experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work well under pressure
