eFlexes Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced CAD Technician to join our Multinational Customer based in the Shannon Region. This position (within the production development and engineering team) will focus on all aspects of technical and engineering design support to deliver safe, sustainable and innovative engineering solutions

DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Provide technical and engineering computer aided design support to production in all aspects including;
  •  Safety Compliant Equipment Design
  •  Fixture and Tooling Design
  •  Factory Layouts
  • Provide daily design production support as part of practical problem solving and continuous process improvement team initiatives.
  •  Proactively share updates and ensures all deliverables / dependencies are highlighted.
  •  Ensure that all relevant documentation is updated in a timely manner and that strict drawing control is maintained throughout
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering technician or equivalent with 2 years plus experience within a manufacturing environment. Specific experience in the following is a distinct advantage;

  • Computer Aided Design (2D & 3D)

  •  PTC Creo One Space Designer Drafting

  •  PTC Creo One Space Designer Modeling

  •  EU Machinery Directives

  •  Hydraulic Systems

  •  Pneumatic Systems

  • Industrial Vacuum Systems

  • Accuracy and attention to detail essential.

  • An openness to new technologies and ability to follow-up on these independently.

  •  A motivated individual with strong can do attitude with a strong ability to think “outside the box”.

  •  Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.

  •  Excellent organizational and computer literacy skills.

  •  Excellent communication and analytical skills
