Junior Engineer Required
We have a vacancy for an NC Programmer/Engineer
Must have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Pro Engineer and should be familiar with Microsoft office and Image editing software.
Full training will be given in the CAD/CAM software -Wicam, Pro Engineer and Vantage.
Duties:
- Documentation control: Updating and controlling drawings.
- NC programming: Using Wicam PN4000.
- Bill of Materials: Creation and maintenance using Vantage.
- Work with tool makers on design of tools, jigs and fixtures.
- Answer any technical queries operators may have.
- Creating and amending Manufacturing Process Instructions.
- Cost reductions and methods to improve production.
- Work with customers on designing new parts/prototypes.
- Redesign for manufacture.
- Projects: Follow new parts/prototypes from start to completion.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing
- 1+ years industry experience in a Graduate / Student Engineer in an ISO regulated industry (preferable manufacturing or a similar regulated industry)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for making things happen!
