Due to continued expansion, our Shannon based Client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team.
Candidates will require a good working knowledge of Solid Works or similar software and should be familiar with Microsoft office.
Full training will be given in Solid Works & M1 (ERP software).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to develop their skills and progress their career within a precision engineering environment.
Responsibilities and duties will include:

Documentation control: Updating and controlling drawings.

Bill of Materials: Creation and maintenance using M1.

Work with tool makers on design of tools, jigs and fixtures.

Answer any technical queries operators may have.

Creating and amending Manufacturing Process Instructions.

Cost reductions and methods to improve production.
-
Work with customers on designing new parts/prototypes.
-
Redesign for manufacture.
-
Projects: Follow new parts/prototypes from start to completion.

Working as part of the Engineering Team
Candidate Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing

1+ years industry experience in a Graduate / Student Engineer in an ISO regulated industry (preferable manufacturing or a similar regulated industry)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
