We have an opportunity with Cork (Little Island) based client for SMT Set Up Technician with Programming experience to joint their team on initial 3 month contract, with significant opportunity to extend. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• To ensure the smooth manufacture of all products including SMT, PTH, and general PCB assembly. 
• Creation and maintenance of machine programs. 
• To perform and complete all PM’s according to procedure 
• Implementation of “good work” Practices 
• Debug/troubleshoot Process/Machine problems 
• PM’s to be carried out according to Schedule. 
• ECO Implementation. 
• Product Performance. 
• Process Improvements. 
• Tooling Procurement 
• Organising of spare parts 
• Understand, Use and improve in house Procedures. 
• Improved line yields and overall quality of products. 
• Monitoring of machine Up-time and report on KPI's 

Skills/Experience: 

 

  • Diploma/Certificate in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years experience in similar type role in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication and influencing skills are essential. 
    • Flexible with the ability to work on own initiative. 
    • Excellent attention to detail.
