Solar Technical Surveyor and Support
eFlexes have a new opportunity for a Solar Surveyor to join a Renewable Energy Company based in Shannon, Co. Clare. The Solar Surveyor will join a dynamic team dedicated to promoting sustainable energy solutions and reducing our carbon footprint. This role requires a hardworking, flexible, and growth-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience, excellent computer skills, and exceptional communication skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Surveys and Assessments: Conduct on-site surveys, gather relevant data, and analyse results to optimise solar panel placement and configuration.
  • Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate technical and financial feasibility, collaborate with teams to develop suitable solar energy solutions, and prepare detailed feasibility reports.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and collaborate with internal teams to design and address technical challenges during project implementation.
  • Project Management: Oversee solar energy projects, ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and manage stakeholder coordination and risk mitigation.
  • After-Sales Support: Offer comprehensive troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and customer support, including site visits and warranty-related matters.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create accurate documentation, including survey reports, specifications, schedules, and progress reports, maintaining organised project records.
  • Industry Knowledge and Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulations, actively enhancing knowledge and skills through self-learning and training programs.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in renewable energy, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in site surveys and technical support for solar energy systems.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV technology, inverters, battery storage, and related components.
  • Proficiency in solar design software and tools for simulation and analysis.
  • Good computer skills for documentation and project management.
  • Excellent phone skills for effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Full clean driver's license
