Aerospace Account Co-Ordinator

Our client, established in Shannon, Co. Clare, since 1994, are a progressive component manufacturer, utilising modern CNC equipment to produce precision components for the Aerospace and Medical Device industries worldwide.  Due to their continued expansion and a growing customer portfolio, they now have an exciting opportunity for an Aerospace Account Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, and working in a fast-paced environment, the Aerospace Account Co-Ordinator will be the primary contact for Aerospace customers.  An understanding of engineering drawings, along with FMEA’s, Risk Assessment, Engineering queries and non-conformities would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with customers on current and future projects. Compiling engineering documentation, drawings, and instructions for component manufacture.
  • Organising fixturing, tooling, material, and treatment requirements for each project and customer requirements
  • Scheduling component manufacturing on ERP system
  • Maintain relationship with existing customers ensuring continued repeat business and taking full responsibility for growing the account
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our customer service according to customer needs and objectives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, enabling win-win agreements
  • Develop, produce, and maintain customer scorecards in line with company requirements
  • Ensuring on time delivery score, agility score and quality performance are kept to a high standard

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Results driven, with the ability to work to an agreed set of KPI’s
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and have a high level of personal interest in the work
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with colleagues across all departments to improve the flow of communication and understanding within the business. This involves liaising with all relevant personnel in planning, production, customer service, sales and accounts.
  • Absolute fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Ireland
