Our Shannon based client, a successful and long-established company, are recruiting an Aerospace Account Co-ordinator to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Aerospace Account Co-Ordinator will be the primary contact for the company’s Aerospace Customers.
 
This has the potential to be a career defining position for the right candidate, and would be suitable for someone with customer facing experience, project management and/or strong organisational, and familiar with Engineering drawings.
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Working with Customers on current and future projects: Compiling engineering documentation, drawings and instructions for component manufacture.
  • Organising fixturing, tooling, material and treatment requirements for each project and customer requirements.
  • Scheduling component manufacturing on ERP system.
  • Maintain relationship with existing customer ensuring repeat business and taking full responsibility to grow the account.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our customer service in line with customer needs and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, enabling win-win agreements.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain customer scorecards in line with company requirements, ensuring on time delivery score, agility score and quality performance are kept to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with colleagues across all departments to improve the flow of communication and understanding within the business.
  • Liaise cross functionally with Planning; Production; Customer Services; Sales and Accounts.
 
Required qualifications:
  • Effectively manage multiple projects, prioritising and reprioritising as required.
  • Understanding of Engineering Drawings along with FMEA’s, Risk Assessment, Engineering queries and non-conformities would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and dedicated.
  • Ability to work to operational quality standards through own initiative and through strong relationship building and collaboration.
  • Absolute fluency in both written and verbal English is an essential.
