eFlexes are seeking a Purchasing Administrator for a highly renowned company based in Shannon, Co. Clare.

This is a contract position, and in addition to a very competitive salary, offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to gain valuable experience within a high-profile organisation, and add real brand value to their CV.   

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Purchasing Administration services including the creation of system Purchase Orders, answering queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding purchase orders, provide general purchasing administration functions to assist the Head of Procurement.

Applicants will require:

  • Purchasing, Administration and/or Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent IT skills with specific experience of Oracle Financial system (Purchasing or Accounts Payable modules specifically)
  • Ability to recognise and escalate issues appropriately
  • Work with the Head of Department to meet strict deadlines.
  • Process-oriented with analytical skills and creative problem-solving capabilities with high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
