Our client, based near Mallow in Co. Cork, has a fantastic new position for an experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager.
This is a very exciting role for a professional Bar & Restaurant Manager who would like the opportunity to run a gastro type bar and restaurant with a reputation for high quality food and customer service. This role will suit someone who is a hands-on manager, someone who is actively present during service times and has a talent for building customer relationships. A taste of the role:
- Day to day management of the Bar and Restaurant
- Leadership, training and management of Front of House employees
- Provide weekly update report to owner
- Promote a positive perception of the Bar & Restaurant at all times both internally & externally
- Be aware of, and anticipate customers’ needs
- Ensure all Health, Hygiene & Safety Policies are met at all times
- Compliance with & implementation of all legislative and licensing requirements.
- Ensure the bars run smoothly on a daily basis is adequately stocked
- Produce effective rotas to ensure staffing levels are appropriate and efficient
- Promote the Bar & Restaurant and its facilities to all prospective customers to maximise sales and revenue.
- Seamlessly control a busy service
- Implement and maintain standards in training, service, quality control
Candidates should have:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience running Front of House in both a Bar & Restaurant
- Superb Communication & Relationship building skills
- Ambitious and driven
- Attention to detail is essential
- Excellent financial acumen, ability to project sales, manage budgets & exceed targets
- An outstanding, friendly & welcoming personality
