This role will provide critical support to the HR team on site in facilitating the successful onboarding experience for international hires over the coming months. The role will be responsible for creating a pleasant relocation experience for our international employees and ensuring that they feel supported with all re-location related needs.   Position will be offered as 6 month contract, with opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

The role will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for relocation related activities supporting international hires in terms of their prearrival and arrival arrangements, organise transport, facilitate them in moving into their accommodation.
  • Flexibility to be available out of hours to take calls and in person if required during international employee arrivals to tend to their arrival needs. We anticipate this be on an adhoc basis. 
  • Ensuring that the accommodation is fully equipped and has the necessary basic supplies for our international employees upon arrival at their accommodation.
  • Develop accommodation agreements and T&C’s for the management of rental properties, conduct inventories pre move date and at the end of the rental arrangements.
  • Develop resource materials for international hires that is supportive and helpful, current and factually correct. This may involve research into external resources and gaining an understanding of particular requirements for certain candidates.
  • Proactively liaise with our international employees, external suppliers, government bodies, banks etc. with the aim to ensure a positive experience for all international new hires.
  • Proactively escalate concerns or challenges appropriately.
  • Work closely with the appropriate HR team for the hires acting as part of the HR team.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

 

Experience/Qualification Requirements:

  • Organized, efficient, good IT skills, good interpersonal skills, strong area knowledge (Shannon and surroundings).
  • The candidate will need to be resourceful and a good problem solver.
  • Full driving licence, flexibility to work out of hours by arrangement and access to transport.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially in the English language.
  • Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines.
