Our client, a leading Irish pharmacy chain, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their corporate operations in Dublin on a 12 month contract.

The successful candidate will be the main point-of-contact for management and will be responsible for mentoring junior HR team members. The role offers a 4 day working week and attractive salary rates. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in HR and experience in Employment Relations.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day HR functions, supporting management with queries and leading junior team members
  • Adhering to employment legislation and company policy when offering advice and support to management
  • Delivering weekly, monthly an quarterly reports as required
  • Assisting admin team in providing information for payroll reporting & processing
  • Supporting with disciplinary & grievance procedures, ER, and IR issues
  • Ensuring that HR policies align with legislation and company objectives
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees in negotiating salaries, working conditions, and other concerns
  • Providing support with the recruitment process of senior roles, restructuring, and planning/forecasting
  • Support the L&D team in developing and implementing training
  • Managing GDPR compliance, analysing feedback from exit interviews and prepare support as needed
  • Monitor attendance across the team and manage absenteeism
  • Ensuring data regarding absenteeism, timekeeping, and holidays is kept up to date, and ensuring that staff levels are optimal
  • Other ad-hoc projects, such ass budgeting for uniforms, planning yearly schedules and maintaining uniform policy

 

Requirements

  • 3rd Level Human Resources qualification essential (CIPD accreditation desirable)
  • 2+ years of experience in a HR Generalist role is essential
  • Good understanding of employment relations and GDPR is desirable
  • People management experience/retail operations experience
  • Experience in acquisitions and TUPE is advantageous
