eFlexes are very pleased to be assisting with the recruitment of a HR Manager Ireland & UK on behalf of an international facilities management company.
 
The HR Manager Ireland & UK will play a key role in delivering the Group HR strategy, enhancing capabilities, and managing risk through a commercial HR business partnering approach. They will also be an integral member of the Operational management team.
 
Based in either the Shannon or Dublin office, the role will involve regular travel within Ireland, as well as bi-monthly travel to the UK as required by the business.

Key responsibilities:
 
  • Handle HR Administration (onboarding-offboarding), compensation and benefit plans, local insurances 
  • Provide commercially focussed advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues in line with Company procedures
  • Populate and develop the group HRIS system
  • Produce People based Management Information monthly, highlighting issues to the business and facilitate actions plans to resolve where appropriate.
  • Review and ensure all Company People Policies in respective countries are updated and in alignment with Group HR Directives
  • Coach, train and support contract managers in the application of HR policies.
  • Provide proactive support and solutions for Employee Relations matters including preparation of ET case work and submissions for any hearings. 
  • Support Business Managers and advise on HR plans to support any transformation activity within the business.
  • Provide support to tenders and retenders by conducting due diligence and interpretation to form cost and risk assessments and propose solutions bearing in mind TUPE legislation. Preparing and providing Employee Liability Information for TUPE activity as well as managing the consultation process.
  • Leading on transition and integration plans including meeting all consultation requirements and ensuring employee engagement and communication sessions are delivered to a high standard. 
  • Support the implementation of new HR initiatives across the business.
  • Reports to Group HR Director and is part of the business HR team, matrix to CEO and will also need to work closely with the Country business leadership teams. Will have effective collaboration with the wider Group HR Team.
 
Skills and experience
  • Strength in managing employee relations cases and in advising line managers how to manage and mitigate risk Will bring a ‘can do’ attitude providing solutions to overcome barriers, being practical in approach, not afraid to get involved and must be a ‘hands on’ HR operator.
  • Constantly commercial and cost focused and can cut through detail to take a pragmatic view
  • Able to influence key decision-makers and to challenge when necessary and is resilient and able to ‘stand your own ground’.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, together with exposure of managing multiple stakeholders, e.g., senior management, clients and other external stakeholders or third parties.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence through written material or delivery of presentations.
  • CIPD qualification preferred and minimum of 5 years HR experience.
