We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join one of our multinational Aviation client based in Shannon. The position will be offered on 6 months contract.

Brief description of duties:

• Sourcing high calibre candidates for both our internal and external recruitment and selection processes including contract negotiation.

• Responsible for all stages of the recruitment and selection process.

• Carrying out research, benchmarking, telephone / Skype screening,
interviewing, reference checking, conducting recruitment assessment centres and providing feedback to candidates.

• Reviewing recruitment and selection business requirements and to provide advice and solutions to managers on all aspects of the recruitment and advertising process.

• Research and utilise advertising methods to successfully source candidates as per the position requirements. E.g. social media, online platforms etc.

• Liaising with all appropriate internal departments to confirm candidates theoretical, practical, work experience and suitability for employment.

• Responsible for liaising with internal departments in relation to the training requirements for new hires.

• Liaising with management in relation to headcount requirements and achieving headcount targets.

• Providing regular updates to management and HR on recruitment progress and tracking the status of all applicants.

• Performing all administration tasks associated with each stage of the recruitment and selection process.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical recruitment. Experience in aviation recruitment would be a distinct advantage.
• A 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Have previous experience dealing with high volume recruitment.
• Be able to prioritise and work on own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Results driven and ambitious with a strong business acumen
