We are currently recruiting Facilities Operator with long established Clare based multinational client. Position will report to Facilities EHS Manager and will be offered on initial 12 month contract, with significant opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

Scope of position:
Perform facility tasks on building maintenance & manufacturing process support as required.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform facilities equipment checks in timely and efficient manner, reporting discrepancies to the Facilities Engineer & be part of the emergency response team.

• Support & work with contractors on site.

• Perform nitrogen cylinder & dewer filling & clean air conditioner filters.

• Storage, control, receiving and shipping of equipment.

• Perform maintenance to facilities equipment as required.

• Perform internal & external cleaning and waste management duties as required coordinate with Cleaning contract company on site

• Perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations & maintain good 5S standards.

• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required from time to time.

Requirements / Essential Skills / Attributes

• Fluent English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible approach to work with ability to demonstrate capability of working well in a team.
• Flexible to work one Saturday in six or an evening if required
• Flexible to assist in an emergency that may be out of hours
• Committed to personal development and self improvement.
• Strong Craft Skills.
• Forklift licence highly desirable.

Desirable Experience
Strong electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills. Some knowledge of chemicals & nitrogen systems.
