About the Role

Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking Manufacturing Associates to join their growing team in Limerick. This role involves operating machinery, processing materials, and ensuring high-quality production standards across a variety of manufacturing operations (Mixing, Coating, Slitting and Warehouse).

2 cycle shifts: day shift  7:00 - 15:00 (Mon to Thursday) and 7:00 - 14:00 Friday.   Evenings 15:00 to 23:00 (Mon to Thursday and 14:00 - 21:00 on Friday.  

You will play a key part in producing a wide range of products, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards, while maintaining accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and process machinery in line with internal and ISO quality standards.
  • Inspect materials, carry out quality checks, and ensure accurate documentation of all processes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Perform visual inspections and ensure correct use of materials and tools.
  • Accurately complete production data entry and inventory adjustments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Support team objectives and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Leaving Certificate (Level 5) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
  • Ability to operate machinery and handle materials safely.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working around machinery, noise, dust, and varying conditions.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Career Progression

This role offers a clear progression path with four levels of Manufacturing Associate:

  • Level I – Training period under supervision (probationary).
  • Level II – Limited supervision, responsible for standard operations and process documentation.
  • Level III – Independent work, ability to raise quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement. (3–5 years’ experience required).
  • Level IV – Expert level, cross-trained, minimal supervision, leading on quality/process decisions. (5–10 years’ experience required).
