eFlexes is currently recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator for a permanent position with our engineering client based in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machinery to accurately form and shape sheet metal components
- Interpret technical drawings, production plans, and work instructions to ensure accurate output
- Select and fit appropriate tooling and materials for each job
- Adjust machine settings to achieve required specifications and tolerances
- Position and secure materials to ensure consistent and precise bending
- Carry out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks during production
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required quality and dimensional standards
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a press brake
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
