On behalf of our client, a well-established supplier of services and solutions to the electronics manufacturing companies, we are recruiting for a skilled Electronics Assembly/ Rework Operator to join their team based in Limerick on a 9 month maternity cover contract basis.
Person must be able to demonstrate skills in electronic assembly and rework technologies (SMT, BGA and associated technologies).
Skills required:
- Complete PCB component assembly and inspection operations.
-Rework and repair of SMT and PTH components on PCB’s.
-SMT (surface mount technology) component placement.
- Soldering (Through hole and Surface mount).
-Operating pick and place machines.
-Component recognition.
-Preparing documentation, Inventory and project record keeping.
- Following circuit diagrams/instructions.
-Maintain a high level of housekeeping and ensure safe working environment.
- Produce product to the highest quality standards (IPC standards).
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working within a manufacturing/electronics production environment.
- IPC certified (Beneficial).
