Document Control Specialist

(12-month contract) Excellent opportunity

Our Shannon based Client is looking to employ an experience document control specialist, to assist with their high paced processes. As they are continuing to be eco-friendlier and more efficient with new law and company guidelines, the successful candidate will be part of a strong team supporting continuous improvement and policies initiated to protect consumer and proprietary records.

Job Duties

Store, manage and track company documents.
Scan, image, organize and maintain documents/invoices, adhering to the company's document lifecycle procedures
Archive inactive records in accordance with the records retention schedule.
A large part of the job is to control the retrieval of documents.
Assisting project managers develop and maintain documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals and related items.
Records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery.
Assist with file migrations and audits, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
Necessary Skills

Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role is essential
Strong ability to prioritise, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential
Ability to communicate with internal and external business partners.
Must be computer-savvy and well-versed in Microsoft Office products.
Experience in one or more of the following is essential: Document control software, process map software, FTP clients, ISO, SharePoint and FileNet. Experience using a scanner is also important.
Experienced in implementing disaster recovery strategies
