We are presently looking for a Registered Nurse in the Galway region who is looking for a full time position within Care of the Elderly. The position will be permanent offering attractive salary and opportunities to progress their knowledge and skills base.
The position is within one of the leading Elderly Care facilities in the West of Ireland. It renowned for its dedication towards person centered care. At present they cater for both long and short term stay residents as well as rehabilitation patients.
This is a excellent opportunity for you to up skill and learn more about the care of dementia and related illnesses.
The suitable candidate will:
Have at least 1 yrs experience within care of the elderly.
Be able to demonstrate a strong skills base.
Show evidence of CPD
Previous experience within wound management, medication management and dementia care are desirable.
Be knowledged about the National HIQA standards.
