HealthcareDirect are currently looking to employ a part time Occupational Therapists to complete ad hoc housing assessments in Tipperary.  You will work in a fully supported environment lead by our OT Clinical Manager and be given the opportunity to work autonomously in the private healthcare sector. Salary is commensurate with experience. If you feel that you are the right person for the role we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience
  • Functional and activities of daily living assessments with a person in their own home
  • Prescribing assistive equipment and minor adaptations e.g. grab rails,raised toilet seats,bed levers
  • Writing Home Visit Reports and Functional Reports
  • Liaising with resident’s families and other relevant agencies

Desirable experience:

  • Housing Assessments Reports
  • Major adaptations e.g. stair lift, ramp access, level access bathroom
  • Member of AOTI Housing Advisory Group

Prerequisites:

  • CORU registration
  • Membership of the AOTI
  • Full driver’s license and access to a car
  • Private Indemnity Insurance
