EHS Engineer – Shannon, Co. Clare (Permanent)
eFlexes is hiring an experienced EHS Engineer for a leading multinational client in Shannon. This is a permanent role offering a strong package and excellent career growth.
The Role
You’ll lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives across the site, ensuring compliance and driving a strong safety culture. Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding EHS standards into projects, upgrades, and processes
- Managing ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 systems
- Leading audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance
- Overseeing risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Managing waste, emissions, and sustainability programs
- Promoting continuous improvement and a safety-first mindset
What You Bring
- Degree in Science/Engineering with EHS specialisation
- 3–5 years’ experience in a multinational (manufacturing/repair preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems
- Audit experience (aerospace an advantage)
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Excellent communication skills and team-focused approach
