We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative with a long established Limerick city based client.   Position will be offered on an initial 3 month contract, with significant opportunity for long term.

Job Objective:

Customer Service Representatives support all customer needs from handling customer queries via telephone, email or on occasion in person through our Limerick base.They should also answer questions and offer solutions concerning our products/services from our customers and sales reps alike.

Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

· Adhere to customer service procedures, policies and standards to help ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

 · Answer incoming calls quickly and efficiently, deal with questions concerning our services, products or any queries that arise with a pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable attitude.

 · Take part in any training required to help the team in delivering a high standard of customer service. · Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.

· Handling customer complaints and ensuring that all customer services staff communicate courteously and professionally with customers.

· Assists in the implementation of marketing plans as needed.

 · To assist with shop cover when needed.

· Attend meetings and travel (may include some foreign travel to our sister company based in UK also) as required by the nature of the job.

· Learning about the company’s products and services and keeping up to date with changes.

 · Analysis of credit notes or tool repair to establish the main causes and identify changes in practices in this regard.

The Person:

  • Understand customer requirements and be sales driven.
  • Ability to learn about products/services and describe/explain them to customers and prospects
  • Communication skills that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and liaise effectively with colleagues
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations to ensure to preserve the company’s reputation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus highly motivated
  • Previous experience working with SAP an advantage
  • Proven experience in a sales/customer service role essential
